I'm reading Dan Brown's
Digital Fortress, which is all about
computers and cryptohgraphy.
It's Brown's usual mix of fact and fiction,
only this time I know what's what.
The story is good, but it has little grounding in reality.
What kind of sysadmin performs maintenance and upgrades by soldering chips
into a computer, on his back, in the 21st century?
(Where the solder can fall onto his face, no less!)
It's very interesting as long as I pretend it's all in a parallel universe.

Someone recommended "Angels and Demons". It's supposed to be a precursor to "The DaVinci Code", but I have no idea how good it is.

I found it weak. The other one, what's it called... it was better.

Not saying that the facts are 100% accurate...otherwise it might not have made such a good read. Another really good book I'm reading right now is "Persuader" by Lee Child featuring the protagonist Jack Reacher. All about undercover cops and espionage, if you're into that kind of stuff.
